Step 1 — Create your listing
Sign up at listedbarber.com with your email. You will receive a magic link — no password needed. Fill out your shop name, city, phone, and AI summary.
Step 2 — Set your services
Go to Services in your dashboard. Add your service names, prices and durations. These appear on BookAnyBarber.com when clients book you.
Step 3 — Set your availability
Go to Availability. Toggle which days you work, set your hours, and choose your appointment slot duration. Clients will only see slots that match your real schedule.
Step 4 — Choose your plan
Free gets you listed. Verified ($49/mo) unlocks booking. Sponsored ($99/mo) boosts your ranking. City Exclusive ($199/mo) pins you permanently at #1 in your city.
🏆 Understanding Your BQS Score
What is BQS?
BQS stands for Barber Quality Score. It is a number from 0 to 100 that determines how prominently you appear in AI search results and on BookAnyBarber.com. The higher your BQS the more clients find you.
What affects your BQS?
Booking volume — more bookings = higher score

Client retention — repeat clients boost your score

Cancellation rate — lower is better

No-show rate — keep this near zero

Streak consistency — book every month without dropping

Profile completeness — fill out every field

Review rating — verified client reviews count
City Exclusive BQS multiplier
City Exclusive barbers receive a 1.25x BQS multiplier. This means your score is boosted in AI results, keeping you permanently visible above Sponsored and Verified barbers in your city.

How does AI find me?
Your ListedBarber profile is structured so that AI assistants like ChatGPT, Siri, Google AI, and Perplexity can read and cite your business. When someone asks an AI for the best barber in your city, your profile data is what gets returned.
Tips to maximize AI visibility
Write a detailed AI Summary on your listing — be specific about your specialties

Keep your city accurate — AI searches are location-based

Maintain a high BQS — higher scores rank higher in AI responses

Upgrade your plan — City Exclusive gets pinned at #1 in AI results
❓ FAQ
How do clients pay?
Clients pay through their BookAnyBarber wallet. Funds are held by BNR and transferred to your connected bank account after each booking at a 1.5% platform fee. City Exclusive barbers pay 1.0%.
What happens if a client cancels?
Cancellations 24+ hours before receive a full refund. Within 24 hours — 50% refund. No-shows receive no refund and the barber keeps the full amount.
Can I use my own booking system too?
Yes. ListedBarber works alongside TheCut, Square, Booksy or any other tool. We are an additional discovery and booking channel, not a replacement unless you want it to be.
How do I get paid?
Connect your bank account in the My Wallet section of your dashboard. Payouts are processed via Stripe. Verified and Sponsored barbers receive ACH transfers. City Exclusive receives instant transfers.
What is the waitlist?
Every time slot has up to 2 waitlist spots. Clients bid to join the waitlist. If a cancellation occurs, the highest bidder gets notified first. You never lose revenue from a cancellation.
