Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Idaman Barber (operating as "BNR", also "we", "our", "us") collects from barbers using ListedBarber.com and how we use, share, and protect that information. It applies to the Platform (ListedBarber.com, BookAnyBarber.com, and related services).

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Name, email, phone number, password, shop name, city, state
• Professional license documentation (license number, expiration, issuing state, image of license)
• Identity verification data submitted to Stripe Identity (driver's license, selfie)
• Bank account or debit card information for payouts (collected directly by Stripe Connect, not stored by BNR)
• Services, pricing, availability, bios, and photos you publish on your profile
• Client contact information you import or manually add
• Content you post to CUTSIDE (photos, reels, captions)

Information collected automatically

• IP address, device type, browser, operating system
• Pages viewed, buttons clicked, session duration
• Approximate geographic location (based on IP)
• Booking history, revenue data, CQS interactions
• Error logs and debugging information

Information from third parties

• Verification results from Stripe Identity
• Payment and payout data from Stripe
• State licensing board records (if we verify your license status against public records)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create and operate your account
• Process subscription payments, bookings, and payouts
• Verify your identity and license eligibility
• Match you with clients and display your profile on BookAnyBarber.com
• Send transactional notifications (bookings, payouts, license renewal reminders, disputes)
• Operate the CUTSIDE feed and affiliate product features
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, licensing audits, court orders)
• Improve the Platform (usage analytics, feature development)

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with trusted providers who perform services on our behalf:

• Stripe, Inc. - Payment processing, Stripe Connect payouts, Stripe Identity verification
• Supabase - Database hosting and authentication
• Val Town - Serverless function hosting for payment logic
• Netlify - Website hosting
• Twilio - SMS notifications (if enabled)
• Amazon.com - Affiliate product linking (Amazon receives referral data if you click affiliate links)

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and may access your data only to the extent required to perform their services.

4. Amazon Associates Disclosure

BNR is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click an Amazon link through BNR Supply or CUTSIDE, Amazon may set cookies and track your session. BNR earns a commission if you make a qualifying purchase. 5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

• Keep you signed in
• Remember your preferences
• Measure Platform performance and usage
• Track affiliate clicks (with Amazon tag "bookanybarber-20")

You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will break core functionality like staying signed in.

6. How We Share Information

We share information in these limited cases:

• With clients: Your public profile (shop name, city, services, pricing, bios, photos) appears on BookAnyBarber.com.
• With service providers: As listed in Section 3.
• For legal reasons: To comply with law, court orders, or government requests, or to investigate suspected fraud or abuse.
• Business transfers: If BNR is acquired, merged, or sold, user data may transfer to the acquirer, subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With your consent: When you explicitly authorize it.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. After account closure:

• Tax and transaction records: retained for 7 years (IRS requirement)
• License verification records: retained for 5 years or as required by state law
• General account data: deleted or anonymized within 90 days of closure
• Backup copies: overwritten within 1 year of deletion

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion (subject to retention requirements above)
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications

9. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of sale of personal information (BNR does not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination. 10. International Users

The Platform is operated from and intended for the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

11. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS), secure database access controls, and limited employee access. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

12. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date and may be sent by email or notified in-app.
